Sinunu Bruni Expands Bay Area Footprint with Two New Attorneys

Sinunu Bruni LLP, a complex civil litigation law firm specializing in toxic tort, asbestos litigation, automobile warranty, construction defect and products liability, has announced the addition of Steven S. Spaulding as Of Counsel, and Leopoldo J. Chanco as an Associate. Both were previously with Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst & Doukas, LLP.

Steven Spaulding joins the firm as Of Counsel with a practice focus on environmental and toxic tort, asbestos and silica litigation. He has extensive experience in State and Federal coordinated matters, including the defense of medical devices. With a background in restaurant operations, Mr. Spaulding has represented restaurants in various aspects of liability defense, including slip and fall, food poisoning, foreign objects in food and fire claims. He is a member of the California Bar Association, as well as the Defense Research Institute. He obtained his J.D. from the San Francisco Law School.

Leopoldo Chanco joins the firm as an Associate specializing in maritime law as well as civil litigation involving toxic torts, products liability and asbestos, and appellate law. Mr. Chanco’s maritime handlings include cargo, collision, maritime lien, Bridge Act, Jones Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, passenger and personal injury matters. He is a member of the State Bar of California. Mr. Chanco obtained his J.D. from the University of San Francisco Law School.
