In March of 2018, Chris Bruni and Steve Spaulding successfully defended a nationally franchised automobile dealership on a complaint involving alleged violations of the Business and Professions Code, Section 17200. Chris and Steve were able to get the Section 17200 claim dismissed, which resulted in a resolution of the matter.

In a hotly contested case involving claims of exposure at a northern California refinery, Chris Bruni was granted a dismissal by Plaintiff's Counsel at the conclusion of his Voir Dire.

Chris Bruni and Scott Herndon resolved a breach of contract claim in an employment dispute between a technology start-up and its former business partner, avoiding litigation and providing cost-savings to their client in process.

Chris Bruni and Steven Spaulding secured a dismissal with prejudice within two months of their client being sued on a cross-complaint for breach of contract and fiduciary duty. The cross-complainant was motivated to dismiss the action after Sinunu Bruni moved to compel the dispute to binding arbitration, which would have exposed the cross-complainant to an adverse award of attorney’s fees and costs.
